Update User Information

The Users page within the Investor Display allows for streamlined management of user accounts and ensures that all contact information remains up-to-date. Key functionalities include:

  1. User Account Management: All users have the ability to update their own email addresses and passwords directly from their account settings. This ensures that their login credentials and communication preferences are always current.
  2. Agent Permissions: Agents have additional privileges, enabling them to update the contact information of their clients. This allows agents to keep their client records accurate for correspondence and important notifications.
  3. Maintenance of User Module: Keeping the user module updated is critical to ensuring that all notifications, documents, and communications are sent accurately to the appropriate contacts. Regular updates to user and client information help prevent miscommunication and ensure smooth operations.

This documentation will guide you through the processes for managing user accounts and updating contact information effectively.

How to update your profile details #

Update user login information:

  1. Login to your InvestorDisplay account
  2. Navigate to the top right drop down to access your profile settings
  3. Update your email & password
  4. Click “Save”

Update user contact information:

  1. Login to your InvestorDisplay account
  2. Navigate to the top right drop down to access your profile settings
  3. Click on the “Contact Information” tab
  4. Update your details
  5. Click “Save”

Important Notice: The following fields cannot be updated by users, as they are tied to your account type and legally binding investment documents. If you need to modify any of these fields, please contact your designated agent or submit a support request to your system administrator for further assistance.

  • Investor Profile
  • First Name
  • Last Name

For Agents: How to update client information #

As an agent, you have the ability to update and manage your clients’ information to ensure their details are accurate and up-to-date.

  1. Login to your InvestorDisplay agent profile
  2. Navigate to the “Users” page from the main menu
  3. Search and select the user you want to update information for
  4. Login Information: Update emails/passwords for that client.
    • Note: you may also update the “Parent”. This is the current agent of that user and the “parent” would have access to view that users profile additionally.
  5. Contact Information: Update addresses and all contact informations for that user.
